Powertech Jamaica is seeking a capable individual to fill the position of Sales Representative.
This position requires you to:
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to explore existing or potential sales opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations based on sales opportunities.
- Focus sales efforts by analyzing customer demand and potential demand in related markets sectors.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual sales analyses.
- Communicate with a wide cross section of persons within the work environment.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Contribute to team effort to ensure targets are met.
- Determine the customer’s needs, provide complete and appropriate solutions to achieve sales goals and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Help to identify innovative ideas to improve the company’s processes and performance.
- Recommend appropriate solutions that meet the customer’s needs, and emphasize the key selling features and benefits of the solutions.
- Provide information on the benefits and uses of a variety of accessories.
- Provide accurate quotations in a timely manner.
Experience:
- Customer Service (+3)
- Closing deals and meeting sales goals (+3)
- Account Management (+2)
- Negotiation Skills
- Previous sales experience, preferably in UPS sales (+3)
- Microsoft software & Internet literacy.
Special Requirement:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
